This variation verifies the origin of items without needing to access a data base. When the label is peeled off, besides the customised security effect, the last three digits in the security code shown on the label surface are revealed on the transparent label film. If the two sets of numbers are identical, the label is genuine and the code is not a copy.

tesa® CodeSeal-Complete

Three digits in the code remain undisclosed on the label surface. The three missing figures are only revealed when the label is peeled off and they appear on transparent film in the security effect. The completed code can then be verified by the end user via the Internet or by sending an
SMS.
