tesa scribos Security Codes provide an addition to our physical security technologies. Security Codes enable authentication via Internet or mobile phone.
This means in fact, that the verification of an encrypted number code, attached to a product, can be executed from virtually any place in the world. tesa scribos works with cryptographically secured codes. For a counterfeiter it is virtually impossible to predict or guess valid codes effectively.
A closed IT-System generates and manages Security Codes and provides remote verification features. Web interfaces and mobile phone interfaces are custom-made to tailor online authentication to different user profiles, e.g. investigators, trading partners or even consumers.
We integrate tesa scribos Security Codes with our physical security technologies. In a security analysis we determine which elements of our logical and physical solutions best suit customer requirements. With the tesa® Verification Label for example codes can clearly be distinguished from those that are just printed.

Data matrix codes are space-saving and readable with standard industrial equipment to enable quick registration of applied codes within production and logistics environments. Human readable codes are used for authentication by investigators in the field or by end users via internet access or mobile phone.
